Best of 2022
In 2021 we caught glimpses of what our industry looked like prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Travel started to pick up again, there were a few tradeshows here and there; And even though it wasn't really anywhere close to what it used to be, it was just good to know and feel that as a collective we were all anxiously looking forward towards a better and stronger future.
Now, we know that COVID-19 is more or less, "yesterday's news", and in many cases, that's a good thing. And as cumbersome as it may be to still mention it every so often, we feel that it is important to look back at it every once in a while. Because after everything that has happened over the last few years, nothing makes us more proud to be a part of the travel industry. Above all else, the last few years have truly showed us how resilient and tenacious our industry is. And looking back at where we were in 2020 versus where we are now, at the end of 2022 is truly remarkable. Long story short, we had a heck of a year. So lets end 2022 on a high note and review the best of what has come.
The Business Travel Magazine
We are proud to be included in this years Business Travel Magazine's, "2022 Tech Hotlist". This list recognizes innovators and innovations that are sparking up the business travel industry.
"Ironically, one of the key reasons why Grasp is in our list is because of the way it helps corporates deal with all the other new innovative tech providers entering the travel arena and being incorporated into corporate travel programmes – all of them producing data that’s going untapped. That’s where Grasp steps in, by essentially ‘grasping’ new data streams alongside travel data to give corporates insights into travel costs and traveller activities, which in turns helps them to optimise savings, improve compliance and 'manage the unmanageable'".

Business Travel Tradeshows
GBTA 2022
This year GBTA was held in San Diego, CA. If there was one word to describe it, it would be, "overwhelming", but in the best of ways. All the speakers and presenters did a wonderful job, including Stacey Mack, Senior Sales Director, Virtual Payments at Grasp Technologies, who participated in a discussion of current perspectives of the virtual payment journey with a buyer, hotelier, and virtual card integrator.
We kicked off GBTA this year with a party that we co-hosted alongside one of our trusted partners, Traxo. We would like to take another opportunity to thank not only Traxo, but all of our friends and clients who came to the kick-off party. It was wonderful to see you all!
After GBTA 2022, we sat down with Traxo to have a conversation about the convention, what we saw and how we felt about the topics that were discussed. If you would like to watch the full conversation about GBTA 2022, click the button below.
